Pokemon Legends: Arceus - All Wisp Locations in Crimson Mirelands (2024)

Pokemon Legends: Arceus offers plenty of exploration as the franchise's first venture into being more of an open-world RPG. While the game gives fans plenty to do with Pokedex Completion missions and other requests, one, in particular, proves to take up a fair deal of many players' time with the title. This would be Request 22, "Eerie Apparitions in the Night," which requires players to go around all the regions of Hisui looking for purple wisps.

For players looking for where the wisps can be found in the Crimson Mirelands, they should note that some may not be accessible or easy to get right away. Some are on high ledges or across the water, making it that players need the help of Basculegion or even Sneasler to get these. However, some creative thinking may help fans figure out ways to collect these wisps despite the roadblocks.

Crimson Mirelands: Upper Map

Nine of the Crimson Mireland's wisps can be found at the top of the map, which may be notoriously tricky for some fans to get to. Along the way, though, many fans can easily find many of these purple wisps as they try to get through a part of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and its story. For those having trouble locating some of them, some landmarks should help.

Cloudpool Ridge

The first wisp can be found in the open across the river from where Miss Fortune's campsite was found. If players either climb up the ledge with Sneasler, or work their way to the top along the other end of the map with Wyrdeer, they can follow a higher ledge with a path of trees to find a second wisp at the end.

Another wisp can be found in the northern area of Cloudpool Ridge, alongside the cliff sides blocking the meadow. Fans should be careful of the Alpha Pokemon nearby. To the northeast of Cloudpool Ridge, atop the cliffside before the Shrouded Ruins, is another wisp at the very tip.

Diamond Settlement

The fifth wisp can be found atop mountains that curl around the Diamond Clan Settlement. If fans look closely, ledges make great stairs for Wyrdeer to climb, so fans can get the specter with ease. The next wisp may require some tricky maneuvering from fans.

On the right side of Lake Valor's mouth sits a wisp, but the ledge is rather high up. Fans may need to either maneuver around the area carefully or use Basculegion or Sneasler to get the wisp at the top. Further south of the river is yet another wisp on a ledge by the left-hand riverside. The ledge is tricky to maneuver despite being so small, so fans should either crouch or use Sneasler.

Northwest from the cliffside is a rather large mountain with an Alpha Pokemon ruling the top. While a slope leads to the gigantic monster, on the left-hand side sits a wisp, waiting for players to collect it. The final wisp found in the top of the Crimson Mirelands is close to the Solaceon Ruins, just eastward from the Alpha's hill. If fans keep their eyes open, they should be able to find it and grab it with Wyrdeer's help with ease as it sits on the edge of an overlooking cliff.

Crimson Mirelands: Lower Map

Where the wisps on the top part of the Crimson Mirelands were relatively close together, the bottom has more of the spirits scattered around at different locations, meaning getting them all will take plenty of help from the Ride Pokemon in Pokemon Legends: Arceus. Still, as long as fans know where they're headed, the time it may take to gather them all may be cut in half.

Cottonsedge Prairie

Since the left side of the map is closer to the camp, the right-side wisps are a bit more difficult. After claiming the wisp near Bolderol Slope, fans should keep to the right of the river to eventually find where the water will curve into a different direction alongside a cliff. They should come towards a big rock with a vivichoke on it, with a wisp hanging around nearby. Staying on the right side of the map again, to the southeast should be Droning Meadow, which is full of plenty of dips and hills for players to climb. There may also be some rare Pokemon for players to fill their Pokedex with.

In the very back of this area should sit a wisp atop one of the last ledges to climb. With that wisp in hand, players are encouraged to head west to go back across the river. Directly across from Droning Meadow sits a high mountain that has a wisp sitting atop its peak, almost as if it's sitting on a pedestal.

From there, fans should head back to Droning Meadow, as against the edge of the map further southeast, next to a cliff's edge will sit another wisp for fans to take if they find the corner it's hiding in.

Gapejaw Bog

Now, players should head back to the left of the map to begin gathering the last seven wisps they need to complete the Crimson Mirelands and get back to catching Pokemon. Just before players reach Gapejaw Bog, they should cross a second wooden bridge. To the right side of this bridge should be a wisp out in the open. Further west, players should see a separation between ledges that has trees growing within them that almost shrinks in the distance. Fans should go down this path as the very end leads them to the third wisp in this area.

Next to that wisp should be two ledges. Using the map, players want to scale the hill to the south to keep going further down the area to find a ledge on the right that houses another little spirit by itself. With this, only four wisps are left for players to find, and they're rather tricky.

The Last Four Wisps in the Crimson Mirelands

After battling and facing many of the Crimson Mirelands' Pokemon, the final four wisps are along the edge of the map and can be reached with some exploring as players leave Gapejaw Bog behind. After getting the wisp atop the peak of the bog, players should keep to the left, hugging the left side of the river.

This will eventually lead them to a small puddle of water where a ghostly spirit sits in the middle for them to take. Fans then should head back up the river, due to walls blocking their path from that point, to head towards the Holm of Trials to the east. Once there, fans should see a circular curve of several ledges, almost like steps with a wisp sitting atop them.

From there, the only option is to go further east. Following the water will eventually lead fans to another puddle of water, but this one has a small hill in the center. Atop that hill will be a wisp, but players need to be careful, as an Alpha Pokemon like Hisuian Sligoo may be resting on the hill as well.

With the spirit in hand, fans should continue to travel eastward to come across yet another river. Fans need to cross it one last time to once again reach the edge of the map, where eagle-eyed players only need to locate a few more ledges alongside a cliff face to climb it and reach the final wisp sitting halfway up the side of the cliff.
