June is Men's Health Month. It's a good time to make sure you are up-to-date on your preventative healthcare. Scheduling an annual exam with your primary care provider is a great start! Remember, taking care of yourself is just as important as caring for others.

In May, Rutland Regional was proud to present the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses to two individual nurses as well as a DAISY Team Award. We are so proud to recognize Lindsay LaFerriere (Psychiatric Services Inpatient Unit) and Cassie Harnett (Progressive Care Unit) for their excellence in nursing care. These individuals reflect the extraordinary and compassionate care that they provide to their patients. Also recognized was the Operating Room Team, who showed through collaboration among nursing staff and others extraordinary patient care by going above and beyond the traditional role of nursing.Congratulations to all Rutland Regional DAISY Award Winners! For all the pictures from that day, visit our Smugmug: https://lnkd.in/g4KwvSkQ

Thanks to our community for coming out last night in support of RRMC’s 2024 Green Mountain Gala at Southside Steakhouse in Rutland! Close to 200 guests mixed and mingled, enjoyed delicious food, music and dancing to Burlington based band a House on Fire. The event raised funds and awareness for the hospital’s Scanning for a Brighter Tomorrow campaign to bring a new PET scanner to RRMC. Special thanks to our event volunteers, sponsors and guests who helped to make the event a success!
